The Pixel 10 Pro design has leaked too.

After sharing the first official renders of the Pixel 10 yesterday, today Android Headlines has images of the 10 Pro in a more muted set of colors.

With the 10 boasting a telephoto lens too, the only visible difference between the phones is the Pro-exclusive temperature sensor, the small dot below the flash. That detail gives away that yesterday’s official design reveal by Google is of the Pro too.

The Pixel 10 Pro apparently comes in black, white, gray-blue, and a pale green.
Renders of what Android Headlines reports are official renders of the Google Pixel 10 smartphone.

Samsung’s Galaxy A56 is finally on sale in the US.

It took Samsung four and a half months from announcing the Galaxy A56 to quietly adding it to its US store, though other countries have had the phone since March.

Starting at $499.99, it comes in gray or gray, and is a pretty standard midranger: Exynos 1580 chip, 6.7-inch OLED display, 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

It’s thinner and lighter, but you’ll need some deep pockets for this foldable.

Tecno gives us our best look yet at Samsung’s trifold.

The Phantom Ultimate G Fold is only a concept phone, so don’t expect it to ever go on sale, but it’s the most complete trifold we’ve seen yet that folds inward on both sides — the same design we think Samsung is going to use for its upcoming trifold.

Tecno says it’ll show off the G Fold at Mobile World Congress in February 2026, but by then Samsung’s trifold should already be out.

Toying with the OneXSugar Sugar 1 transforming gaming handheld.

Remember when I told you about the Android handheld that’s kinda like a Nintendo Switch that transforms into a Nintendo DS? I got an exclusive early look at a Sugar 1 prototype, running some of my own dual-screen and single-screen Nintendo games on it!

It’s crowdfunding on Indiegogo on Monday, July 21st; we don’t have final pricing yet, but it’ll be north of $600.

Former soldier pleads guilty to hacking and extorting telecom companies.

Cameron John Wagenius, aka kiberphant0m, had already pleaded guilty on two charges for hacking T-Mobile and Verizon, and could face 20 years in prison after pleading guilty Tuesday to additional conspiracy, extortion, and identity theft charges.

Wagenius reportedly sold data stolen from Snowflake cloud storage accounts, including records for 560 million Ticketmaster customers and information from over 150 other companies, and said he’d posted hacked AT&T call logs for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Two other men, John Binns and Connor Moucka, have also been indicted in this case.

The makers of Cameo just launched... a birthday-tracking app?

The new app, called Candl, puts your contacts’ birthdays into a single calendar where you can track and sort through upcoming birthdays, as well as see whose astrological sign you’re most compatible with, as reported by TechCrunch.

Candl can also help you “grow your birthday network.” If you don’t have a contact’s birthday, but one of your mutual friends does, their birthday will surface in your app.

Samsung’s Z Flip 7 FE is unavailable from US carriers.

If you thought Samsung’s more affordable flip phone felt like an afterthought during yesterday’s Unpacked, apparently so did every major US carrier. SamMobile points out that none of Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T lists the FE, and even Samsung’s own site only offers the phone unlocked.

In fact, the only US provider we’ve found offering the FE is Boost Mobile — maybe that’s what it meant when it announced it’s a real carrier now?

T-Mobile has officially axed its DEI policies.

In a letter to the FCC, T-Mobile executive Mark Nelson confirms that the company is “ending its DEI-related policies... not just in name, but in substance.” He adds that the carrier “will no longer have any individual
roles or teams focused on DEI.”

Earlier this year, T-Mobile updated mentions of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) on its website to appease FCC Chair Brendan Carr, who said he would not approve mergers — like T-Mobile’s joint venture deal with Lumos — if companies have DEI-related policies.

The show’s really over when they send you to the Product Experience Zone.

Doesn’t look like we’ll get a trifold tease as a “one more thing” thing here. Guess there’s always January...

The Z Flip 7 FE got the briefest of mentions.

There’s one more flip phone this year and this “Fan Edition” didn’t exactly get a big spot in the presentation. It’s $899, which sure, that’s a few hundred bucks cheaper than the Z Flip 7. But its... not that cheap? I dunno. It exists.

Long clock! Long clock!

The bigger front screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 makes space for my favorite new lock screen feature: a clock the gets dynamically shorter and longer depending on your wallpaper photo. It’s on iOS 26 too, so I guess Long Clock is officially a trend.

Two thousand US dollar bills.

That’s the starting price for the Z Fold 7, which goes up for pre-order starting now. Better hope those trade in deals are strong!

Oh, it’s AI again.

We are two years into the era of AI on phones and I’m just going to say it: I don’t need any more explanations about how AI can generate useful summaries of text for you. I get it! Let’s just take this for granted and not trot it out at every product launch, please? Anyway, the new foldables have lots of AI. Again.

Osterloh in the house.

Android and Pixel boss Rick Osterloh is here to talk about Gemini on Samsung phones. He’s plugging Circle to Search getting access to AI mode, plus Gemini Live on the Z series. Samsung and Google are good friends, Google and Samsung would like us to remember.

Z Fold 7 is up first!

The newest Fold is the thinnest Samsung foldable ever, and Samsung calls it an “ultra” experience... without actually calling it an Ultra phone. Weird! But it really is super thin!

Here we go!

TM Roh is getting us started with some lofty talk about how technology improves lives. Also, we have our first mention of AI phones, so take a drink. I would but we’re not allowed even water in here.

We are ready to unpack!

Samsung’s summer foldable extravaganza starts soon and we are here in Brooklyn ready for the big unveil. We’re expecting to check out foldables, wearables, maybe even a trifold if we’re lucky. Stay tuned!

I just want to know what my trade-in value will be.

Samsung usually offers pretty substantial trade-ins for its new folding phones. I have an old Galaxy Z Fold 3 that’s held up really well, and I held firm on trading in for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. I think at one point, Samsung was offering up to $1,000 for it. Will the same offer stand this year?
