New York replaces San Francisco as the top spot for tech jobs.
Citing data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the real estate firm CBRE found that New York’s tech talent workforce grew to 394,300 in 2025, compared to 375,730 in San Francisco. This marks the first time New York has topped the list in 13 years, CNBC reports.
