Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is out today on PC and PS5, but like previous games in the series, its release has been overshadowed the launch of another, more anticipated game. Well, almost. Digital Eclipse just announced the release date for its retro throwback beat ‘em up Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, which is out on December 10th.


During the latest livestream for Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom confirmed that the game will get an open beta that starts on October 28th for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and October 31st for everyone else. Unknown World’s spooky-ass ocean game is getting a direct sequel. Subnautica 2 debuted during today’s Xbox partner preview. Judging by the announcement trailer, the game is, once again, making a strong case for why we don’t belong in the ocean. Not ours, and especially not an alien planet’s.
Even after watching the trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii during Xbox’s partner preview, I still have no idea why Majima Goro, the best character in the Yakuza series, is a pirate and honestly, I don’t care. During the Xbox partner preview, Bloober Team showed off its next game, Cronos: The New Dawn. During the trailer, one moment features individual kitted out in astronaut gear, exploring a dilapidated house overrun by monsters. And in the next, they’re playing an increasingly bloody game of chess with a sweet old lady who is definitely hiding a secret. Cronos: The New Dawn is set to release in 2025.
It’s one thing for Netflix to split Arcane’s upcoming final season into a three-part event, but the streamer has some nerve to keep dropping these banger trailers so close to the show’s return next month.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launches spring 2025 and is an action RPG that looks like if Persona’s turn-based combat got mashed together with high-quality visuals you’d see from Naughty Dog or Sony Santa Monica. But what’s really impressive is the newly revealed cast, boasting the voice talents of Ben Starr, Charlie Cox, and holy precious is that Andy Serkis??!! Whatever this game is, I’m in.
