Rivian narrowly missed its goal to build 25,000 EVs last year.
The California-based company delivered 20,332 vehicles to customers and produced 24,337 electric vehicles in 2022, 10,020 of which were built in the last quarter according to a statement released on Tuesday.
Reuters reports that Rivian shares fell by almost 6 percent following the announcement, with rival EV manufacturer Tesla falling by over 12 percent after also missing its production targets.
