Some eggcellent news.

Not only is Netflix bringing back Chicken Run in movie formDawn of the Nugget starts streaming on December 15th — but we’re getting a game as well. Eggstraction will be, well, an extraction game. Only with chickens. Netflix says it’ll be available to subscribers “soon.”

How sweet it is.

We previously only had a brief look at the brutality that awaits in season 2 of the post-apocalyptic series Sweet Home, but now there’s a more in-depth trailer to check out. The new season drops on December 1st, and it moves things out of the Green Home apartment building into the wider world.

Time for a heist.

As part of its ongoing gaming push, Netflix announced an adaptation of another of its big properties: Money Heist. It’s part of the streamer’s new line of choice-driven narrative games.

A strategy game based on Shadow & Bone was also announced — and it’s out for Netflix subscribers starting today.

It’s almost time to geek out for a bit.

So far Netflix’s Geeked Week has been a bunch of small teases spaced out through the week. But today things are different: there’s an actual stream you can watch, starting at 4PM ET, and it’s expected to feature the first proper trailer for the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series. You can watch it all go down in the embed below (or on Twitch, if you prefer).

Nintendo’s shockingly excellent Super Mario Bros. Movie hits Netflix this December.

News of the upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda movie still has a large chunk of Nintendo’s fans in a state of understandable shock.

But as dubious as folks might feel about Nintendo’s choice to tap Avi Arad for its next big screen feature, rewatching The Super Mario Bros. Movie — which was excellent, and is coming to Netflix on December 3rd — might put those concerns to rest.

The Archies looks like a good ol’ fashioned, wholesome time.

Netflix’s upcoming musical The Archies from director Zoya Akhtar might be based on the same source material as the CW’s Riverdale, but the film’s latest trailer is yet another reminder that these takes on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead are going to be bringing a completely different kind of energy to the small screen.

Those eyes.

We already knew that Netflix was working on a CG-animated Ultraman movie, but the new image released during Geeked Week today gives a good sense of the scale that’ll be on display in Ultraman: Rising when it starts streaming next year. Even better: we’re getting an actual trailer during tomorrow’s portion of the event.

Captain Laserhawk’s Adi Shankar on multiverses, AI, and Rayman propaganda

As wild as the world of Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix might seem, it all makes perfect sense in creator Adi Shankar’s mind.
