Netflix subs continue to rise amidst its password-sharing crackdown.

According to data from analytics company Antenna, Netflix added 2.6 million subscribers in July, which it says is “elevated compared to normal.”

That’s still less than the spike in subscribers Netflix saw in June, but comes as yet another sign that Netflix’s paid-sharing rollout is actually working. Last month, Netflix said the password-sharing crackdown resulted in more signups than cancellations.

Netflix’s One Piece adaptation is dropping at the end of August, and a new behind-the-scenes featurette gives a pretty good look at some of the pirate action, most notably Luffy’s ability to stretch his body to absurd proportions — which has a whole different vibe in live-action.

A night of chiptunes.

Netflix just properly revealed its Scott Pilgrim anime, and if you happen to be in LA on November 17th, there’s going to be a concert featuring music from the show from chiptune rockstars Anamanaguchi. The band also did the soundtrack for the Scott Pilgrim game, and it absolutely ruled.

Netflix now has 70 mobile games available for subscribers.

The number is steadily creeping up, and there are some great games to choose from. However, if you’re one of the lucky few who can test out the company’s streamed games, you’ll only have access to two titles; hopefully Netflix adds more to that lineup soon.
