Cross-progression is finally coming to Apex Legends.

Apex Legends has thrived since its surprise launch four years ago, and while it has thrived since then, the fact that players couldn’t migrate acquired content and stats across platforms has become ridiculous as competitors like Fortnite, Warzone, and even Overwatch merged accounts across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.

But now, Apex will finally join them in a “phased launch” along with rolling out a new season, Ignite, a new legend with a tragic Titanfall-related backstory, and a smaller Storm Point map on October 31st.

I just have one question about this Polyphony Digital co-developed car interior.

Nissan says it teamed up with the Gran Turismo developer on an interior for the Hyper Force EV that was just revealed at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. Part of a concept series that includes the low-poly spaceship on wheels-looking Hyper Adventure, this coupe is “designed for racing enthusiasts and gamers who crave the adrenaline rush of the racetrack but are also eco-conscious.”

A tough choice this weekend.

Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder came out on the same day (October 20th), and unfortunately for those of us with limited free time, they’re both excellent. Good luck squeezing them both into your weekend.

Here’s a few more things I wanted to share about Roblox.

In addition to Tuesday’s news that Roblox is asking employees to return to its offices, I have a few other Roblox tidbits you might be interested in.

🎮 Roblox launched on PlayStation last week, and it already has more than 10 million downloads, spokesperson Samantha Spielman tells The Verge.

😀 The company published a long blog post on Tuesday about how it’s “evolving” its avatar technology to make it more modern. It’s an interesting read, though there’s no news.

📺 Earlier this month, the company added the ability for developers to include short videos into their experiences. I worry this feature could be used for bad, but the company says videos must adhere to its community standards.

Spider-Man 2 on the PS5 has twice the spider-men, twice the emo fun

The sequel doesn’t change a lot, but it adds some welcome variety to the web-slinging open-world series.

The box for Sony’s new accessibility controller for PS5 is designed to be accessible, too.

You can hear Sony’s team talk about the Access’ box in this video published Thursday starting at around 8 minutes and 13 seconds. The Access is available for preorder now ahead of its release on December 6th.
