Game development is hard, and glitches are hilarious.

Santa Monica Studio is commemorating the one year anniversary of the release of God of War Ragnarök with a montage of humorous glitches, bugs, and odd moments from the game’s development.

There’s just something about game glitches that gets me cackling like a gremlin and tearing up with laughter.

Sony pushes back its live service game ambitions.

The company says it now expects to release six live service titles by March 2026, half what it previously planned. Bloomberg has said Sony’s teams are having “mixed levels of success” with the live services push, and that it has cut back the team working on its Last of Us multiplayer title. Even Sony-owned Destiny 2 developer Bungie has been hit with layoffs and delays.

Gran Turismo 7’s big Spec II update launches tonight.

Expect a new progression dashboard, new cars, and new tracks, as well as some PS5-only tweaks like 4-player split screen and the Sophy AI driver agent.

Sophy has been touted as a scientific breakthrough made with reinforcement training to master both superhuman lap times and racing etiquette (unlike the people you race online in GT and Forza). Now, Sophy 2.0 can drive 340 cars (up from four in its previous iteration) on nine tracks. However, GTPlanet notes it’s unclear how many instances of Sophy can take the track at once.
